Attorney Bio

Michael Bennett is an associate with Melville Johnson, P.C. whose practice centers on representing federal employees, other general litigation matters, appellate law, probate and estate law, and tax law.

Michael has developed a breadth of legal experience, having worked as a legal clerk in different states.  He clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge Jeffrey S. Bagley of the Superior Court of Forsyth County.  He also clerked for the Massachusetts Division of Administrative Law Appeals and the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board.

Michael graduated from the University of Georgia, magna cum laude, and with two bachelor's degrees in political science and philosophy.  Michael went on to receive his Juris Doctor from New England School of Law in Boston, where he was a member of the school's national trial competition team.

In addition to his passion for representing clients, Michael also enjoys artistic outlets.  He has played his trumpet with many musical organizations over the years.  He also enjoys the culinary arts, having developed himself into an adequate amateur chef.  Michael also enjoys yoga, golfing, hiking, and reading in his spare time.
