Ms. Blake is a Baltimore native and received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore, School of Law in 2019, with gold recognition in Pro Bono Service. Prior to law school, she received a B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park. While in law school, Ms. Blake served on the editorial board of the Journal of International Law and practiced as a Rule 19 student attorney. Additionally, Ms. Blake was a judicial intern for the administrative law judges at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in the Baltimore Field Office. During her time in law school she studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina exploring employment law issues in South America. She is a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International, and Phi Delta Phi, International Legal Honor Society.
Following law school, Ms. Blake worked as a Law Clerk for the Department of Education, and as an Assistant District Attorney in the Office of the Fulton County District Attorney.
Ms. Blake joined Melville Johnson, P.C. in 2021 as an associate. Ms. Blake chose to practice employment law because of her passion to fight for people in need of assistance. Ms. Blake is a strong advocate for her clients, and delivers quality and skilled representation.
