Morris P. Steward

A native Texan, Morris retired from a notable career with AT&T that spanned 25 years across various locations, including San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and St. Louis. During his career in corporate America, Morris spent the majority of his time as a well-respected manager and trainer in their Marketing and Human Resources departments. Mr. Steward is a graduate of St. Mary’s University School of Business in San Antonio, Texas, where he earned a BBA in Marketing before attending graduate school at the University of Texas at San Antonio. A passionate voice for his community, Morris has been involved in Democratic Party politics since his freshman year at university, having held numerous leadership positions at the local, state and national level.

A fine food enthusiast, Morris also earned an AA degree in Culinary Arts and is an accomplished chef, teacher and caterer in his personal time. His passion for gardening has led to the maintenance and development of several extensive formal gardens, including those at his own home that he opens to the public during community garden tours. Mr. Steward has worked at Melville Johnson for twenty-four years. Mr. Steward is responsible for all office management duties at Melville Johnson, P.C., including client billing and Firm finances.
